What happens if you try the download again? What is the place id or the search terms you are using?
I have tried the download again, but it continues to give me this error:
An unexpected error occurred while processing your request. Please contact support for assistance.
The place ID I am using is: ChIJOyl-HGliUocRD9PfZXvuSDU
This place ID has worked in the past. We have been using your plugin for some years now, this is the first time this error has occurred.
That location seems to be working fine for me. Try de-activating and re-activating the plugin. Then try again. This time right-click on the page while it is downloading and look for the console window. If it fails there may be some messages there that will help.

I have attempted deleting the plugin and reinstalling it. I have tried disabling other plugins in case there was a conflict, but nothing is helping.
There is an error message in the console, but it says it’s an unknown / generic error

Are there little down arrows out to the right of the “Object” words in the console? You should be able to expand those arrows and see what is in the Object.
Been having the exact same issue.
