An unexpected error has occurred ?

    Can someone tell me what they think has happened please. I get the following message when I try to access search plugins –

    An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    I have previously been using a Jetpack plugin without problems however since a recent update of WordPress the following message comes up.
    Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.

    I have deactivated the plug in and reactivated it without success. I have lost key features from my website and can’t access the plug in page to get them now.
