Support » Plugin: WP Speed of Light » An Outright Lie

  • At present, I’m using WPTC for minification, GZip, caching etc, and WP Smush for image optimization.

Checked before plugin was installed and was getting 1.7 seconds per page load on GTMetrix, and 1.5 seconds per page load on Pingdom.

Finally got the results back from Web Page Speed Test, and it comes in at around 2 seconds, with a straight run of ‘A’s and a CDN tick.

With all that in mind, how on earth does Speed of Light manage to get a WPST (it’s preferred testing tool) score of over TWENTY seconds?

Plugin being deleted for being deceptive and lying to customers.

Hi, sorry but I don’t really understand what you mean, especially

    Dude, this plugin works.

I have no affiliation with the developers of this plugin. I tested a dozen combinations of other plugins and I had to carefully test the javascript deferral because they would break my site. I’ve installed this plugin on 6 different sites in the last 2 days and my results have been consistently amazing. Given this is a new plugin I really hate to see your 1 and accusations of lies and deceit.

I’ve been wrong on a review or 2 and went in and changed my rating.

You’re right, it’s damn complicated to explain and understand that some part of the optimization is “reserved” to advanced users.

    Cheers,
