We regret that you did not like WP Admin Classic Colors plugin.
The purpose of the plugin is very simple: make the old familiar color scheme of WordPress 3.7 available for you in WordPress 3.8 or above – as you can see it in description of the plugin page.
We think this color scheme is missing in the new WordPress version. Maybe you read topics about this, e.g.: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/38-admin-panel-design-is-very-bad?replies=91
If you would like to use the classical look and feel without modification, please use this plugin, all you need to do is to install the plugin. But if you would like to create your custom color scheme and set a number of options and color settings, you can find some other great plugins for this reason. We did not want making another similar plugin that is why our plugin does not have complicated options, it contains only a fixed pre-defined scheme similar to older WordPress, which is very simple to use.
