    Customers are getting this error message when trying to check out:

    “An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment”

    Using Chrome’s debug, I see more errors that say “
    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()”

    I’m running version 2.1.0 of the Square plugin, version 3.9.2 of WooCommerce, and the latest version of WordPress. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting to my square account.

    Please advise. I’ve temporarily switched to accepting payments through PayPal so my store isn’t completely offline.

    I have just signed up with Square and am running this through my WooCommerce store and am getting the same error. I have tried each of the workarounds suggested in this thread and nothing fixes it. Please fix urgently!!!

    Is there any possibility of someone helping the many people affected by this issue?

    If you are seeing the same error, according to our forum guidelines, it would be best that you create your own thread since something else may be causing the issue on your site.

    In your thread, please specify what you’ve already tried. Please also let us know which versions of Square, WooCommerce, and WordPress you’re running on the site. If you could give us a link to your site that we could check, that could be very helpful too.

    I did all the above steps but it doesn’t work

    Hey there!
    To better understand what’s happening, I’d like to take a look at your site’s logs.
    First, check to make sure that logs are enabled via the payment plugin settings page.
    To find the generated logs:
    1. Go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs
    2. In the top right corner, open the drop-down and select the Square Payments log that you need, then click view to load it. Here’s what that looks like:
    3. Copy/paste the relevant part of the log into your response so we can take a look.

    Everytime a customer wants to pay with credit card on my website they get this message:
