I am getting the “An error has happened while performing a request” message when attempting to sign up using a Mailpoet form.

This only happens when not logged in to WordPress

I am made sure that I am using jquery 3.6.0

I tried disabling all other plugins and using 2021 theme to rule out any conflicts.

I am using latest versions of WordPress (5.8.1) and Mailpoet (3.71.0)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @phenotype_x,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I tried disabling all other plugins and using 2021 theme to rule out any conflicts.

So the same error was returned even with all other plugins except for MailPoet disabled and Twenty Twenty theme active?

That’s weird because I can’t replicate it on my test site.

It looks like a Dev spotted this because 3.71.1 has just been released which fixes a conflict with Elementor. Updating to 3.71.1 has fixed the problem.

This means that I must have failed to disable Elementor fully when testing, so apologies for that.

Sorry to say this error has come back again.

Still using jquery 3.6.0 and WordPress 5.8.1. Mailpoet version is (3.71.2) and Mailpoet Premium 3.71.0
