# An encoding problem.

 * Once I upgraded WordPress to 1.5.2, it displays the contents of DB in strange
   encoding. The data in DB are encoded in UTF-8, and it worked fine with previous
   versions. But after upgrading, WordPress displays them in ‘EUC-KR’, even though
   I am sure the data in DB are UTF-8 and I did nothing to DB.
 * I disabled all plug-ins and use the default theme, but it hasn’t been solved.
 * Why does WordPress read the contents in UTF-8 and convert them to EUC-KR before
   displaying?
