Hi Frank, congratulations for this amazing plugin. It’s a pleasure to see the size of my pages decrease so much!

I know that lyte works nicely with mobile themes and is responsive by itself but, unfortunately, in AMP pages only display the lyte link instead of the video. It would be useful that at least the plugin would change the httpv protocol in the displayed link for http so at a minimum the link would be clickable by visitors of AMP pages.

Are you planning to add support for AMP soon or its a thing that depends more on AMP plugin developers?

Thank you and have a nice day 🙂

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks a lot Frank, it works like a charm. With Jetpack installed, in the desktop version your player detects the link as normal. When I browse the AMP version Jetpack detects the link and wraps it with a player which is an advantage visually but a disadvantage speed wise because I suspect it does not lazy load the video like yours.

correct. problem is AMP is very restrictive of what can be done both in HTML & JS, so doing lazy-loading or something similar will probably be impossible.
