AMP logo size

    Hello,

    I have been using AMP for WP on my sites since this January. I really like it. Great plugin!

    I have a question.

    The recommended logo size is 190×36 in General setting page of Accelerated Mobile Pages Options.

    According to Google’s structured data page, 600×45 is recommended size in AMP logo guidelines.

    In addition to the “Logo” section in General setting, there is a “Default Structured Data Logo” in Structured Data of Plugin’s setting. Is this the place to upload for 600×45 logo?

    Thank you so much for using AMP for WP.

    According to AMP guidelines, they are recommended sizes, but they are not mandatory. And yes, Default Structured Data Logo is for Google. That is the place to upload recommended 600×60 logo size.

    Thank you for your reply. I remember there was the logo size recommendation for 190×36 in some AMP documents, but I could not find it. And then, 600×60 is recommended for AMP logo in Google’s document. (Sorry it should be 600×60 not 600×45)

    Currently, I am placing 190×36 in General setting page.

    If you know the URL for AMP documentation of 190×36 logo size, can you please let me know?

    I totally understand what you are saying. Well, 190×36 is not official. When we are designing this plugin, we analyzed everything and thought the 190×36 logo looks appropriate on mobile devices. That is the reason why we kept 190×36 by default. If you want you can modify logo size according to your requirement.

    Hello Riyazmoin,

    Thank you for providing additional information. I thought I saw 190×36 somewhere in Google or Schema document, but was not sure.

    600×60 seems a little bit odd considering AMP form factor. I tried to put 600×60 in Default Structured Data Logo on the plugin setting.

    It turned out using 600×60 image file to display 190×36 from Structured Data testing result. I guess it would OK either using 190×36 or 600×60. The result would be identical.
