# Amending URL structure

 * I’ve installed the plugin and the shortcode onto a site i am developing, which
   is on /portfolio. Now, when i click on the ‘Read More’, the URL structure says‘/
   blog/portfolio’. Is there any way to change this so it follows the ‘/portfolio’
   structure?

 * Its the `Category base` setting (Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks) which is
   making your URL like this.
 * Whatever you put in `Category base` field, you will see it before `/portfolio`

 * That has fixed that issue, but i had the /blog/%postname%/ set as the custom 
   URL so the blog posts under /blog had the structure /blog/%postname/ whereas 
   with this new change they just sit on /postname/.
 * Any ideas on how to have both?
