AMDHAS theme static home page missing

    I’ve just installed the AMDHAS theme, tried unsuccessfully to create a static home page, with other pages as well as a blog page.

    I found a similar question here on the forum and the suggestion was to check “latest posts” in the Reading section of Settings, for “Front Page Display”. Counter-intuitive, but it worked. For a while. Then suddenly, my home page has disappeared again, and what I’ve got is a blog page. I’ve tried checking it back to “static page”, but nothing changes.

    As far as I can remember, the only things I changed were to delete the rotator images in the Ads area (in Theme Options), and uncheck the “button” box.

    It looks like a terrific theme if it actually works, so I do hope someone can help me.

    on the other hand…

    I just checked the site on Safari, and the home page is back. Checked again on Chrome, and it’s there also.

    Who knows… It’s a mystery.
