I installed Wordfence on another one of my sites, set it up, ran the scan, found 3 issues which I fixed or chose to ignore.

But the email contained way more problems that I was shown after the scan. I confirm again, that I only had 3 issues so where did the others disappear?

Then I got the email with the results:

Ok, I have to correct myself: I was only shown 3 issues but I noticed the last line of hte scan said: [Nov 13 11:58:11]Scan complete. You have 25 new issues to fix. See below for details.Scan Complete. so where are these other 22 issues hiding?

Any other logs/info/access details I can offer for debugging this?

If you have many ignored issues, this may be the reason. I think the way we’re counting it is wrong – we’re including counting ignored issues. Can you confirm this?

hm, now it all looks normal: it says 111 issues, which is pretty much accurate since its multisite and I edited/adapted a lot of themes… and the list of found issues is indeed pretty long (haven’t counted to check if tis indeed 111 🙂

lets consider this closed as it all seems fine now.
