[resolved] Amazon S3 file downloads do not work (2 posts)

    Can connect to S3 with no problem. Recognizes files when I click "Get Your Amazon Files". However, cannot download files from "Preview" column (next to file name in Product Downloads area) or after successful purchase. Receive error message: "Sorry something has gone wrong with your download!" Also, cannot "delete" file from Product Downloads area.

    In S3, I have tried removing all spaces from file name, setting it as "public", giving permissions to "everyone" to open/download. None of this fixed it.

    Please help.

    I believe this is resolved in the upcoming 3.8.10 release.

    The Pull Request referenced here, I think, is what fixed it - https://github.com/wp-e-commerce/WP-e-Commerce/pull/90

    You can download trunk and run it on a staging site to see if it fixes your problem
