• Hi all,

The Amazon CDN options in W3 Total Cache allow you to specify which region to host files with, whether it is the US/UK/Asia Pacific. However, Amazon S3 have recently added Sydney (AUS) as a new region, and W3 does not have this region as an option in the list.

I thought that manually specifying the Amazon S3 bucket would be fine rather than choosing a region from the drop-down list, but W3 does not seem to connect to any region not in the drop-down list. I keep getting a “bucket does not exist” error. Works absolutely fine with any other region however. This seems to be an issue many people are facing, as users seem to have similar issues using Rackspace.

Any chance of new Amazon S3 and Rackspace regions being added in the next W3 Total Cache update?

    Cheers.

I’m on board for adding support for the Rackspace V2 API. I was surprised that W3TC is using such an out-of-date API. It really is essential to be able to deploy to the correct region.
