    hallo good day dear Don,

first of all: many many thanks for your Amazon-plugin – i really love it. it is so powerful and has got lots of features!

question: can your plugin work with the Shortcode Ultimate-plugin

    see an example http://www.ex-libri.org/?p=152

see the page – note; it is a true BETA-Beta-Site http://www.ex-libri.org
where i actually test lots of things.

here you see a posting called “Veranstaltungen” were i tried to achieve this….

what about your Amazon Plugin – would it run and work here…?

    love to hear from your
    martin

see the shortcode – as an example for a three collumn posting…

  • This will work with the plugin.

Just check your shortcode usage – should be [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin="3835402617"]

    Regards,
    Don

hello dear Don, many many thanks for the posting!

    great to hear from you

what is aimed: want to have these algned in left – middle and right collum

    so i do this…:

    a. within the shortcodes or
    b. outside the shortcode?

note: i have no access to the site at the moment….

here the Shortcode for the amazon pip

    [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin="3835402617"]
    [AMAZONPRODUCTS asin="3835402617"]

    and here the shortcode

    [su_row]
[su_column size="1/2"] This is column 1. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Duis quam nibh, euismod eget nulla a, tempor scelerisque lorem. Proin dignissim arcu tristique fermentum ullamcorper. Integer lacinia scelerisque enim eu pretium. Nam elementum turpis orci, ac porttitor diam suscipit sit amet.
    [/su_column]

[su_column size="1/4"] [amazon asin=3835402617] This is column 2. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Duis quam nibh, euismod eget nulla a, tempor scelerisque lorem.
    [/su_column]

[su_column size="1/4"] This is column 3. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Duis quam nibh, euismod eget nulla a, tempor scelerisque lorem.
    [/su_column]

    [/su_row]

Edits by Will Taylor to demonstrate column sizes.

You would have them inside the shortcodes – something similar to this:

    [su_row]
    [su_column size="1/2"]content[/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/4"][AMAZONPRODUCTS asin="3835402617"][/su_column]
    [su_column size="1/4"]content[/su_column]
    [/su_row]

Now, one thing you may have to do, is style the product so it fits inside the column container. You will need to do that with CSS. We don’t really provide CSS help beyond the basic layout, as there are too many themes and too many layouts that are out there – so we pretty much tell people that if you want a custom layout, you either need to know CSS (somewhat) and style it yourself, or hire someone who does know CSS to do it for you.

    Warm regards,
    Don
