Amazon links

Hi all!

I am new to wp and trying to figure out how to resolve a few issues:

1. How can I get my amazon links to be side by side instead of straight down on my where to buy money trees page? I downloaded the links directly into the box using “code”.
2. How can I get rid of the categories box, the archives box and the meta box? this will be a static website.
3. along the top, it relists the names of the pages, can i get rid of this?

I would really appreciate any help or suggestions. I want the most basic layout possible for static page.
