Support » Plugin: WP-Lister Lite for Amazon » Amazon BR vs Plugin Translation

    Hey guys!

    Good job with the plugin!

I’m here to make a proposal.

Amazon is about to start its Brazilian Marketplace in the next few days (it’s being reported to be tomorrow).

The marketplace itself is already online and ready to work with. From what I’ve seen, it’s the same as the US platform. The only differences I could spot were the products category list (which is much shorter) and the Marketplace ID obviously.

Taking into account that Brazil has a population of over 200 million people and it’s the 4th country in the world with the highest number of internet users (140 million), losing only to India, China and the US; I belive it’s of your interest to have this plugin working for the Brazilian platform and also in Brazilian Portuguese since we have a lot of sellers ready to try the new platform. You would be helping those sellers (myself included) to integrate their WooCommerce store with Amazon BR.

So here’s my proposal: if you kindly add the Brazilian marketplace to your plugin as an option I can translate the whole plugin to Brazilian Portuguese (free of charge of course). I’m a native speaker and also very good with our complex grammar, so you can be sure it’s going to be a great job.

If you’re insterested, please let me know.

    Regards
    André

  • Hello AndrĂ©

First off, I want to thank you for your interest in WP-Lister and your generous offer.

I will discuss this with our developers and look into the API Docs for Amazon Brazil and get back to you as soon as I can.

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hello Neozin.

I am happy to inform you that the developers will be working on adding support for the BR marketplace as an experimental marketplace at first to see how it works with WP-Lister. As soon as that has been completed and is ready for testing I will let you know in this forum thread.

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hey John!

    That’s great news!
I’m sure it’s going to work.

Please also let me know how I should proceed for the translation process.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Regards
    Andre

    Hello Andre.

We will update you when we have added support for Brazil and then go from there.

    Kind regards,
    John

    Hello Andre.

Can you tell us where we can download the inventory file templates? The page would look similar to this page: Inventory File Templates but would be for Amazon BR. We can’t seem to find the page and it is possible that it is a private page which would mean that you’d need to login to your BR account in order to view those files. And since we don’t have a BR account, you would need to download those template files and send them to us.

    Kind regards,
    John

Actually, it would be better for us to know the download URLs to those feed templates because that way we could automatically update them when Amazon publishes updated versions. So I’d recommend that you do a “Save page as…” in your browser and send us the HTML page instead of the feed templates. (still assuming that this page can only be accessed when logged in to seller central BR)

But don’t post this here on the forum. Instead, use our support form on wplab.com, or send an email to support at wplab dot com – and please include a link to this forum thread as a quick reference.

    Thanks in advance!
    Matt

    Hi Andre,

I’m sorry but I’m going to mark this ticket as resolved for now because we’ve been waiting over two weeks for a reply and while we did add the BR marketplace in the latest version, we still can’t use it without the proper inventory feed files.

Let us know if you’re still interested in support for Amazon BR.

    Until then,
    Matt
