 * I am an Amazon associate and would like to include a view ads in my sidebar for
   books I have read that relate well to my blog. Not looking for context sensitive
   links. Is there a plug-in for this. I missing something more obvious?

 * You can use the built-in links manager. Add a link category for your Amazon books
   then add the links – book title and Amazon link.
 * Then add the Blogroll widget or edit your theme to display the links.
