[Resolved] Having frontend issues with Chrome & IE

  • This is for the website http://www.kennedyac.com.
I installed yesterday the plugin All In One Favicon. I loaded the new favicon (a red “K”) in the correct file formats to the Frontend and Backend locations. Despite cleaning cache, the Genesis favicon still appears in some browsers.

    The current Frontend favicon results:
    Chrome–Genesis favicon
    IE–Genesis favicon
FF–“K”, which is what I want

    The current Backend favicon results:
Chrome–“K”, which is what I want
IE–“K”, which is what I want
FF–“K”, which is what I want

Whatever guidance you can provide me would be appreciated. I want to learn how to do this and it has been driving me nuts trying to discover the solution on my own.

I am having a similar issue. This plugin has always worked perfectly in the past, but recently one of my sites won’t display the favicon on the front end in Chrome. It is OK in Safari. Backend is OK on Chrome, though.

@kasia_codeword: It is impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread with a question of your own – even if it is a “Me too”. It causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.

    Hi,
    works on Chrome for me:

So I guess it’s a browser caching issue.
    Cheers,
