• This morning I loaded WP-Supercache to a new website. In advanced setting I have enabled “Use PHP to serve cache files”, which is recommended for a new site.

I checked source page to verify that pages are being cached. I get the following:

<!– Dynamic page generated in 2.856 seconds. –>
    <!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2015-10-14 11:46:54 –>

<!– Dynamic Legacy Super Cache –>
    <!– Compression = gzip –>

It’s being cached and everything displays fine, but am I really legacy page caching instead using php to serve cached pages? Or am I totally misreading this? The later is a distinct possibility.
