I triggered the plugin for 2 days.

During that time, every time I F5 received the notice: “Translation API Overloaded. Rosry in a Few Minutes.”

My website has not been translated and I don’t know when to wait.

I really want to use Wplingua because in my opinion, this is the plugin with the best user experience, the most reasonable approach. Unfortunately it still doesn’t work for my website.

    Hello,

There seems to be a problem with the text on your pages. I’m running some tests to find out more, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

I did extensive testing. There seems to be a problem that occurs very rarely (2 sites out of more than 800). The texts sent to the API seem to have an encoding problem, which prevents the API from translating them. This is why the plugin thinks the API is overloaded when it isn’t.

To prevent this problem from preventing text detection, the API now returns untranslated text when an encoding problem is detected.

Can you confirm that you can edit and translate texts manually?

Thank you for your interest in this topic and thank you for your efforts to find a way to handle the problem.
I would like to confirm that I was able to translate manually. Notice “Translation API Overloaded. Riet in a Few Minutes.” disappeared.

To update more. Two days ago, I tried to stop activating all my plugins except Wplingua.
However, the above notice still appears.
I use the Generatepress theme, this is a popular theme.

    Hi @nguyenminhhung,

    Thanks for your feedback.

We don’t think the problem is with the theme. Julien (@wpr0ck) is still investigating and will get back to you as soon as possible.

    Thanks for your patience 😉

    Best regards

    Hello,

I’ve updated the wpLingua API. You should have fewer problems with automatic translations and no longer be blocked by the “API overloaded” message. If you get this message again, it should mean that the API is really overloaded at the time of your call.

Could you please let me know if things are better on your site with this API update?
