Always displays a message about taxonomies.

As of version 3.0, if a custom post type has no taxonomies, actions other than change terms will also display the message “You must assign a hierarchical taxonomy to this post type to use this feature.” is displayed.

I would like to request that it be modified to not display this message for actions such as changing status or setting as sticky as it was before.

Can you be more specific in replicating the issue?
- Does this only happens on custom post type? On regular post/page works fine?
- Do you create new post or existing post?

- This happens not only for custom post types, but also for regular posts/pages if there is no taxonomy.

I found that this problem occurs when using the Classic Editor style box or Classic Editor.

Is that on regular post type (Posts/Page) or custom post type?

Occurs on custom post types and static pages.
Regular posts do not occur because categories exist.

Unfortunately, it has not been fixed.
In the Classic Editor and Classic Editor style box, taxonomy messages are also displayed for actions such as Change status to Draft.

This should be fixed in 3.0.5 that we just released. Please open a new thread if you still have an issue.
