Always directed to my sites INDEX page

    I’ve just installed WORDPRESS into my existing site’s MAIN directory. In DASHBORD when I click “Visit Site” I am sent to the sites index page, not to the WORDPRESS page. Even if I manually input into the browser; http://……com/?p=4 which seems to be a WORDPRESS post I end up at the http://…..com/ page.I can’t go to my WORPRESS page.

    you have a website that is not wordpress, and wordpress running in the same directory? having an index.html and index.php file in the same directory usually doesn’t go well
