    Hi,

I have a couple of images on this page which I am trying to improve for SEO but on the images the alternate text says “Loading Images” for all of them – I have tried adding alternate text within the media library but it doesn’t show this text.

The page I am looking at right now is https://www.woodenluxury.co.uk/windows/casement-windows/ but it is happening throughout the website.

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi @woodenluxury

    Thanks for using our plugin.
The browser console at your end shows following error related to cache:
    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier https://www.woodenluxury.co.uk/wp-content/cache/wpfc-minified/d24qjoz/2s7j4.js
Can you try deactivating any cache/minifying plugins used at your end?

    Thanks

    Hi Rohan,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I have deactivated the plugins but now the alt text on this page isn’t showing with anything but it looks like the browser console error has cleared.

    The plugins I disabled were:

    WP Fastest Cache
    A3 Lazy Load
    Smush

    Hi,

Can you now try deleting the existing image and then re-adding it to save the page? Please make sure that the image has alt text set via WordPress media uploader before adding it onto the page.

    Thanks

    Hi Rohan,

I’ve just tried that with the first image now and it looks like it has worked – shall I now try reactivating each of the three plugins I disabled to see if it still works as we did need these other plugins to improve the site speed – unless there’s any others you would recommend we use instead?

Sorry by first image I meant the first one which is in a square as the three circle ones are background images in CSS.

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

Yes, you can try activating the plugins one by one to identify the exact one causing it.

    Thanks
