    Why is it that every other post title link is different? They alternate on hover. For example if I hover over the first one it underlines the link, the next one doesn’t. For the life of me I can’t figure out what to change in the style sheet. I’ve already set h2 a:hover to text-decoration: underline and tried everything I can find in the style sheet. I’m pretty advanced with CSS. I also noticed they’re using the same class, id, etc…hmmm.

    Any suggestions.

    I’m using WP 1.5 Default Theme

    pretty weird

    right now it says this:

    h2 a:hover, h3 a:hover {
    color: #06c;
    text-decoration: underline;
    }

    try this:

    h2 a:hover, h3 a:hover {
    color: #06c;
    text-decoration: underline !important;
    }

    beyone that I don’t know. pretty strange

    Well, firefox alternates ’em. IE 7b2 makes ’em all underlined. Opera 9b makes ’em all underlined as well.

    Using the delightful FF extension Web Developer Toolbar, I see the following style info all in effect on those poor H2s:

    a (line 184)
    {
    color: rgb(0, 102, 204);
    text-decoration: underline;
    }

    h2, h2 a, h3, h3 a (line 120)
    {
    color: rgb(0, 102, 204);
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    a:hover (line 189)
    {
    color: rgb(17, 68, 119);
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    h2 a:hover, h3 a:hover (line 194)
    {
    color: rgb(0, 102, 204);
    text-decoration: underline;
    }

    Half underline. Half none. Poor guys are going schizo trying to decide what to do. 😉 Or something…

    what’s I’d do is make a post on the blog saying “hey, look at my super cool blog design. look at how every other post title underlines on hover.”

    make people think it’s some super high tech code that makes it do that and all of the sudden you’re a genius

    +1 resiny

    what’s I’d do is make a post on the blog saying “hey, look at my super cool blog design. look at how every other post title underlines on hover.”

    But then add: “Because this is a web 2.0 styling, it works best with Firefox…”
