I’m having the same problem. 1. None of the thumbnail customization works (I could remove height, width, gap and it will look the same)
2. I used the http:// links in the ALT of each image in the gallery. Each image has a description. Still, no caption.
Could use some help sorting this out.

Solved! It didn’t matter that the ALT is not the http link to the image. I changed the ALT to text and added sc that I didn’t realize was required. Here’s the sc:
