[Resolved] Alt tag outputting "caticonslite_bm_alt"

  • Hi there,

    You’ll have to excuse me, I didn’t build this site and have never used your plugin before.

    The designer used the plugin to pull in an image to represent a category or sub category.

    However, when I view the source code, all the alt tags are being outputted as “caticonslite_bm_alt”. Due to the amount of times this is happening on our site, Google webmaster tools is now associating the word with us, thinking it’s one of our most relevant keywords.

    Any ideas how we can either remove the alt (I’d rather have it blank, e.g.) alt=”” than have caticonslite_bm-alt) or ideally, change it to something else. The title (or real alt) of the image perhaps.

    Thanks,
    Carly

    Hi,

    put this in functions.php :

    add_filter('caticonslite_alt', 'bm_myalt');
    function bm_myalt($alt) {
    	return ' ';
    }
