Alt tag in Rich Text Editor

  • When you are in the Rich Text Editor and you want to add an image from URL you end up with something like that:

    <img alt=”” src=”/pictures/news/xaml_panel.gif” title=”XAML panel” class=”alignleft” width=”200″ height=”200″ />

    The ‘title’ tag is filled but not the ‘alt’ tag. How about title and alt being filled both of them? Any plugin or hacking?

    Thanks for your help

    I’m pretty sure that’s by design. The alt attribute should be left empty for purely decorative images.
