Alt and title attributes missing in featured images

    Hi, I’m using this theme, and I see that the featured images do not have ALT or TITLE attributes. How can I add them to the theme?

    Hello,
    Thanks for using CoverNews.
    Please upload the image and go to the media section. Next click on that particular image and on the right side, you will see the option to add ALT text. Actually that is WordPress core features, it is no theme feature actually.

    The images already have their alt and title attributes, but these are not seen in the featured images on the home page. Featured images on home page entries are treated as backgrounds, and do not show alt or title attributes, which is affecting SEO.
