Already Installed message

    Hey
    i’am a newbee in wordpress..
    and i have followed every single instruction correctly to install the wordpress.
    I have installed word press but when i go to
    /wp-admin/install.php

    then it gives me this message:

    “You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.”

    which This should setup the tables needed for my blog. and should give me my password
    but it hasn’t

    can anyone tell me how to solve the problem?

    That typically means that the WordPress tables already exist in the database (DB_NAME) with the same $table_prefix you specify in wp_config.php. So you should be able to browse to your blog or if necessary, DROP the tables in your database and redo the install.php process.
