• Was very excited about Wp ERP then found out some basic things that maybe will be fixed one day.
I will offer just one. It has no hourly rate for employee wages, which is such a basic thing I had to just stop there. I can’t imagine what else is overlooked or left out if that is left out.

Will look back at it again one day, but beyond that I love the concept, but not for the company I currently work for.

  • Hello @m4op3rator

It’s our pleasure to see your excitement about WPERP. We believe it’s really a helpful plugin for the people’s own small and medium businesses.

Pay type is not a feature of WPERP actually. It’s an extension. It’s really sad for us that you shared a review for WPERP itself based on a paid extension behavior!

However, in the Payroll, it offers weekly, bi-weekly and monthly pay types at this moment and we have a strong desire to add the hourly pay type in the near future.

    Thanks

Mehedi, I realize from your point of view you like to separate the core program from all the extensions.
So, when someone leaves a mixed review you point out it’s only the extensions and not the core.

Problem is most people are getting your software because of the extensions, which you advertise heavily on your website, and not just the core. As the core by itself would be VERY limited without some serious coding and customizing for most people’s businesses.

The ADMINS of this forum have told you already in another reply, that as long as you sell and advertise those extensions directly from the core website, it is fair to criticize them as part of the program.

Lastly, yes people can read all the fine print about what is core and what is extension, but it is not the job of the consumer to sift through mysteries.

My advice, remember most customers are not engineers or system architects but rather office personal looking for a simple solution and don’t have time to figure out what is core vs what is supported etc.
I believe if you adjusted the marketing of the product just a little, you could avoid many future confusions with customers or potential customers.

    Have a great day.

Also kindly, one other point. Hourly rates are a VERY basic thing for any US based company. Most people in the US are hourly employees.

Naturally you can see, if that basic feature is not available, a person might wonder what else is not there.

Everything is tied to an employee’s hourly week. Their vacation, their pay, their taxes etc…

It is impossible for me to implement without that, therefor I can not give it a 5 star.

I can tell you I am not the only person staying away from the program because of this. You have many people that would use it, if that was a feature here is the US.
