Almost perfect photo/image galleries

This is one of only two plugins that properly display both images and videos in the same gallery, and show the EXIF comments. I appreciate that the author(s) have kept so much capability in the free plugin! I also like the simplicity of the configuration.

Unfortunately, the EXIF comments of the photos are not searchable in WordPress.

Another drawback of this plugin is that video thumbnails/previews are not shown in the gallery.

Finally, imagine having to load 5,000 images/videos into your WordPress Media folder – and what that will do to the usefullness of your Media selections for future posts. This problem is common to almost all gallery plugins.

UPDATE One Year Later (11/8/2022):
The plugin may be growingly incompatible with WordPress 6.1+, as I saw this error today, and no updates have come in 2 years, so dropped from 4 stars to 3:
