• I’ve been using this for a side project for a number of months now, and it’s honestly really easy to use. I sort of wish we could integrate categories with it instead of just tags, but it’s not a deal breaker.

Some areas to improve would be how the data syncs between the Castos host and the plugin. I do find that I have to go into my podcast episodes on Castos afterward just to tweak some of the info to keep it aligned with my website, but I’m also using my own custom website and not the one offered by the plugin hosting company. All in all, it’s a great plugin that gets the job done.

    Hi @webinkedesign,

Thank you for your feedback. Could you clarify which information is not syncing between the plugin and Castos?

Hi, just to be clear, I do really like this plugin, it’s super helpful and easy to use.

That being said, when I’m done posting an episode and it syncs to Castos, I still have to log in and do the following:

    1. Change episode type (Full, Trailer, etc)
    2. Change Website to Use Custom Link
    3. Manually add my transcript so it’s consistent (I use Descript and then export my transcript manually)

It would just be nice if I could do those things from my WordPress dashboard as well, so I don’t have to remember to log in to my Castos account after I’m done. Not a deal breaker by any means, just a little extra work.
