There are a few plugins that will automatically detect the commenter via IP address. This is one such:

You might want to create a form for this. There’s probably a plugin that will accomplish this for you.

Hey there all,
I wanted to make this page, where people could post a comment to discuss their personal experiences during their travels.
But I wanted to know if I could set it up so that someone could select their country.
So for example in the comments someone would type.
Name:
Date traveled:
(Drop down menu of country)
email:
website:
So when someone selects their country it would have an avatar or icon of their flag next to the comment.
is it easy to understand what I mean?
