Support » Fixing WordPress » Allow viewers to choose language of theme and content

  • Hi all,

it is my first message here so I hope I’m posting in the right thread – I had a look around but couldn’t find anything specific.

I am using the Service Finder theme to create a service commerce website – everything went well up until the moment I had to set up a second language for my site.

I have installed polylang and that allows me to translate effectively the content of the website (showing up a language switcher on the home page), however this doesn’t work with the theme and woocommerce, as they both have a lot of strings that don’t show up in pages.

I have downloaded the .po and .mo files and I know how to start translating them, however before getting into that I would like to understand: how can I set the site up so that one switcher on the home page allows the users to translate the entire wesite (so both the content and the theme)?

    I hope it is clear!

Thank you a lot in advance,
