    Hi,

Is it possible to create different galleries and allow to users registered to upload photos to the galleries?

    Thanks!

    Hi @blumbreras,

Thanks for asking us. NextGen itself doesn’t include a membership management feature that would allow creating separate NextGen user accounts to allow uploading images but you may be able to allow the site’s visitors to register and login ( using the default WP’s register/login features ) then assign the lowest user role and customize the abilities of this assigned user role like it is described here https://www.imagely.com/docs/roles/

I need to note here that, unfortunately, this wouldn’t allow limiting their actions only to their galleries. They’ll be able to view, modify and insert any of the existing galleries.

    Hi!

I think I explained myself wrongly. I was wondering if the add-on allows you to upload photos to users from the front-end to the different galleries you have created.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the details but this doesn’t change too much, unfortunately. Neither NextGen Gallery or Pro support such a frontend image upload feature.

I will add it as a feature request on your behalf.
