# Allow user to modify users except admins

 * Hi,
 * I want to be able to give access to a user to modified and manage all user except
   the administrators (me). I looked for plugins and hooks I couldn’t fine anything.
   The only solution that I can think of is to modify the admin/users.php file but
   the I am not going to be able to update wordpress or using the “init” hook stop
   wordpress from rendering the users and recreate the users.php file. I just want
   to know if there is a easier way. Or probably wordpress can add a hook in the
   users,php file in the next version to modify the ‘$wp_user_search’ object.
