Support » Plugin: WP Data Access » Allow user to adjust pagination size per table

  • Peter,

Another feature that can be enhanced is the ability to allow user to adjust the page size per table from the frontend GUI.

Currently, I think the page size is fixed for all tables. I think it would be nice if we can allow user to change the page size when viewing the table. It can be a list box with an administrator predefined page size. For example 25, 50, 100, ALL.

This can be a setting per template.

    Thanks.

    Jay

    Hi Jay,

This topic needs an explanation per tool:

    Data Publisher

The Data Publisher allows you to change this setting in the advanced settings. This feature is documented here:
    https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/documentation/data-publisher/advanced-settings/

Please scroll down to: Change the list of shown entries

    Data Projects

There are three shortcodes to add a Data Project to a webpage:
    wpdadiehard
    wpdadataproject (premium only)
    wpdadataforms (premium only)

It is not possible to change the rows per page size for wpdadiehard. This is not planned for the future as well. Only if you run a Data Project in the back-end you can change this value dynamically. This is related to existing WordPress classes used by the plugin and I do not intend to change this behavior.

Shortcodes wpdadataproject and wpdadataforms are using the same options as publications. It is currently not possible to change these values, but this is planned for the future. Advanced settings like publications will be added for premium users, with the possibility to add custom code.

    Conclusion

You can do this with a publication. You can currently not do this with a project, but it will come… (and even more)

    Does this help?

    Best regards,
    Peter
