Allow drawer without floating widget

I like to trigger the opening of my drawer using a CSS class name and hide the floating widget via CSS. It would be nice to offer a formal option to use the drawer without loading the widget at all, though, as the widget adds a 247 kb gif that I do not need. Or, at the very least, use a more optimized (smaller) image for the widget or allow the user to upload a custom image for the widget.
