• On the home page of my site I have a recent posts section which i really like. However once i go to a category, ex. motivation, the set up is different showing my name and the time posted in regular print and the tags jammed together at the bottom of each post. Is there any way to replicate the home pages post format for these category pages? Thanks in advance. My site is http://www.ssetraining.com.

  • Try renaming taxonomy.php to something like temp-taxonomy.php. If that works, the issue you are having is that your theme is using a different template for categories than it is for your homepage or other archives. You could just eliminate that file.

I just changed taxonomy.php to temp-taxonomy.php but I dont see any change in the format on the category page. Im new with coding but is there a way I can take the front page code and transfer it into another file for the categories.I would even be fine with having the the posts look like this,http://www.ssetraining.com/arnold-shows-it-best/, on the category page.

I’m not too familiar with that theme, but you should be able to create a file called category.php and copy the contents of your home page template into it. Looks like the theme doesn’t have a category.php file, which would take precedence according to the WordPress Template Hierarchy.
