All widgets disappear when I save new button

    I am using a child theme of receptive and created a button that I used in a couple of different left column templates. Whenever I create a new button and save it, ALL of the other widgets that I have created previously are deleted from the site. This has happened multiple times and is going to make me stop using this button maker unless it is fixed today. I have to continually rebuild all of my widgets and page templates every time I make a new button.
