Update:
I have restore database backup and I’m abler now to see logs again but all users remain with 0 points.
I need a function that help me restore users points on previews state.
Kindly help me out.
Hi @veggeras,
Thank you for contacting us, kindly note that it is never recommended to delete myCred in order to restore to a previous version. Kindly try to revert back to myCred v1.8.3 so that your users get their points back and also note for restoring to previous version or upgrading to new version just replace the plugin extracted zip file inside wp-content/plugins/mycred
Also note if it still doesn’t gets the point back then respond on the support ticket you created at mycred.me
Thank You!
Hi, I have reverted back to MyCRED version 1.8.3 but unfortunately users remaining points are not back, I have also reply to my tickets on mycred.me.
Thank you very much for your help.
We are still waiting for your reply!!!
@wpexpertsio Do you support your members? It’s past 2 days with this serious issue I have and it’s about money I have take from users regarding the points system and now their points are lost and you not help me to recover back! I have paid to increase the support level and still nothing. What else to do?
Hey @veggeras,
We understand your frustration but it is clearly mentioned in our codex that if you uninstall mycred then all your points will be lost. Also i would need to ask you that have you restored the full database or just some tables of the database as the user meta table contains the points balance and we are afraid you might not have restored that table. Can you please check back and let us know.
We can see that you have given us a bad review you should have restored the plugin to 1.8.2 not deleting the whole plugin and installing a new one again ofcourse that will refresh all the points as mentioned in our codex too. MyCred support team is working on daily basis for each and every of it’s user to provide them quality support.
Thanks!
I think is not ideal to delete a plugin before upgrading to newer version, however i think that mycred should provide a seperate export function that will enable the export of all users, their points, their history and the entire mycred settings as an extral backup, in a csv or xml file, because mycred is a very sensitive data structure so a complete backup and export function should be in place, even if you want to migrate users to another site without using the entire database for the migration.
