Support » Plugin: Mooberry Book Manager » All the time asks me to fill the download link fields

  • There is only 1 field in the Download link, but the plugin does not allow to create a book and requires to fill all the fields in that section. Crazy

Download links require a Format and a Link to the file.

The Download Links section should look like this:
    Download Links

If your page does not look like that, there may be some conflict with your theme or other error. If that is the case, I would be happy to work with you to resolve the issue if you start a support request in the support forum.

Also, to clarify, it is NOT required to fill in the Download links. If you don’t offer your book for free download direct from your website, simply keep the Download links section empty. However, if you fill in ONE field from the Download links section, you must fill in BOTH.

Thanks for your reply. It looks exactly like that, but the Format field is empty so I couldn’t choose anything.

Hmmmm…. when Mooberry Book Manager is activated, it is supposed to install some default formats for that list. I’ll have to look into why that isn’t happening. I’m actually out of town right now but as soon as I get home I will look into it.

In the meantime, items can be added to that list by going to Mooberry Book Manager Settings -> E-book Formats as described here:

Once there are items in the list, the books page should save properly while leaving the download links blank.

I will definitely look into why that’s not being set up on plugin activation.
