    Hi

I’ve been testing your plugin and I have this major issue with the URL of the plugin’s menu items

Now if I click on “Products” for example, I will be directed back to WordPress dashboard via this URL “https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product”

Please note that mydomain.com is the main domain.

I’m suspecting this issue is due to the WordPress being installed in a sub-directory, not in the root directory of my hosting; I could be wrong…

    Please kindly advise. Thanks

    Hi,

For the POS menu items linking to the WordPress admin, we use the admin_url configured for your instance. Here is the WordPress codex as reference: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/admin_url

If you are using a sub directory this should not create an issue, if the admin_url is correct. Our recommendation, please check and confirm the admin_url for your WordPress instance matches the sub directory setup.

    Hi,

please check and confirm the admin_url for your WordPress instance matches the sub directory setup.

Could you please elaborate on how to do this check? Thanks.

    Hi,

If you go to your WordPress dashboard admin, click the Settings option and click General, please verify the Site Address (URL), the admin_url is referencing this setting for the POS menu links to the WordPress dashboard admin.

If this field is correct, we’d recommend you check for any plugin or theme conflicts. Often other plugins or themes could be introducing a redirect. We provide a documentation resource on how to perform the plugin/theme conflict testing here, but we recommend you consult your web developer prior to conducting any testing to avoid issues for your website.

If after verifying the Site Address (URL) is correct and issue occurs after completing the plugin/theme conflict test, please follow-up and submit to us the WooCommerce System Report And POS Debug log under the Settings. We will go ahead and close this issue here on the forum, but recommend you submit the requested logs if the issue continues to our support ticket system since the logs contain information you may not want to post to the public forum.
