Registered URL that points to our wordpress install won't follow any subpaths added to the root URL.
ex. http://www.mysite.com/page1 will always drop the user back to http://www.mysite.com
once in the site all links work perfectly.
If you go to the website by the name of the local system all works well.
    ex. localhost.com/page1 ....
This is a multisite WordPress install on an IIS8 server. At first I thought it was just the subsites that weren't working, but if you type in any of the subpages after the URL it always goes back to the home page. I am sure I am just missing something related to how the site responds to browser requests, but I just don't know where to look.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to actually give our site URL for reference.

You will notice that the site goes back to the home page and displays the actual name of the system the site is installed on.
