All posts since beginning of time displaying on main page

  • I’ll be honest…I don’t know how long this has been going on on my blog, but I do remember a time not long ago when the # of days I designated to display in Options displayed that # of days.

Now…every single post I’ve written is displaying on my main page. Options>>Reading is set to 4 days (not 4 posts), but everything is displaying. I checked several of my themes…same results.

It seems there’s only an issue when I’m using the Days designator vs. the Posts designator. If I designate 1 post or 10 or 42…that’s what displays. However, no matter what I put for “days”…I get everything.

Any ideas? I haven’t made any changes to any of the code in my pages in weeks but regardless, would appreciate some help on how to (hopefully) get it back to normal.

    Thanks.

  • What version of wp? I *think* there were some issues with this a while back, but thought they’d been fixed for later releases….

There always used to be “issues” with # of day setting. I can’t recall any version in which it worked well… and I am here quite for a while.

I’m on 2.04…invariably, when I upgrade to another version, some other problem crops up.
