All post categories showing on blog

I do not want ALL my posts showing on my blog. They are all categorized, but there is a hierarchy arrow that will take you to each post as you click on it. not sure if the easiest solution is to remove the “üp”arrows so only the blog posts specifically for the blog page show and a user cannot click to see other stuff from other pages.
