All pages show directory
-
Hello everyone.
I’m new to WP and I’m clueless about coding/ database, etc.
It’s been day 2 for what it’s supposed to be a 5 min installation, so you can imagine my level of understanding of all this is pretty low. That being said, my problem is that every page that is not one of the WP set up pages won’t show, instead I get a directory showing all the files.
I been browsing the forum for a couple of days, and I noticed I was not the only one, on another post someone said to make a .htaccess file and put it on the rood directory, I did that, no luck.
On anotherone someone said that this only happened after upgrading to 2.7 so I figured if I installed an older version it will work, also not luck.
If I click on the page
index.phpI can see my selected template, and I see this error:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: post_image() in C:\hshome\shikakuf\shikakufx.com\brokenbeat\wp-content\themes\grid-a-licious\index.php on line 14here is the link:
http://www.shikakufx.com/brokenbeat/index.phpanyone knows what I might be doing wrong?
thanks in advance!

Update:
I went to my hosting CP and I disabled indexes, just to see if that might work, and the page shows blank with no errors.
I was reading here that someone had a similar problem
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/247666and the suggestion was to increase the PHP memory so I did..
no luck, its still not working.is there any more information I should give so it makes is easier for someone to help me? please help, Im stuck.
Thanks in advance!
I am just taking a guess, but I would think that your web server is not recognizing the “.php” extension by default for some reason. Contact your host and review what is going on with them and see if they have any advice for you. If you are self hosted, I would suggest that you consider the possibility that the .php extension needs to be added to your http server configuration (application/x-httpd-php) in order to function correctly. I’m only guessing, mind you, but it seems strange that it won’t load index.php unless you include it in the URL.
alright
someone helped me, it was an issue of my hosting company, wordpress was fine.thanks to whoever was reading!
Clayton, you were exactly right, that is what it was! I was just typing my closing post as yours came up. thanks for looking into this!
