I can see some comments on both of your pages. Did just some vanish and not all of them?

Can you check in the admin whether the comments are still there? I can see they are not displayed.
The front page shows there are comments, but if you click the comment button, there are none. There are also no comments in the “dashboard”.

Is the Comments tab gone or by clicking on it there are no comments listed?
Next. If you have phpmyadmin access to the database, can you check/browse the wp_comments table to see if the comments are there?
So, David Lida, I see you have comments now. Did they just show back up? By the way new comments disappear.

No, it’s not that.
If you don’t have phpMyAdmin (or you don’t know what is it) or any other database management software… then it will be difficult to troubleshoot. Sorry.

OK, so look, I got the phpMyAdmin installed – now when I go to my blog address http://thisainthell.us/blog the phpMyAdmin log in appears. Help!
Who is your host that you had to install phpMyAdmin? On any decent host/server it is installed and functional in the hosting package you pay for.

It’s on Yahoo. It was there, I just had to install it – but where am I looking?

Search the forums, there are zillions of topics about how to deal with their specific, crazy setup.
Also, Y! has somewhere all kind of tutorials (knowledge base, forums, whatever) about how to achieve simple things in complicated ways. I mean simple on other host, complicated at Y.
Sorry, I cannot be of more help, maybe somebody familiar with that host will jump in.
Um, are you telling me this isn’t a WordPress issue? I mean, it’s a WordPress blog…it doesn’t matter who the host is. Now, I did something that you told me to do, and now the darn thing goes to phpMyAdmin log in instead of going to my blog like http://thisainthell.us/blog did before I installed this thing.

All of a sudden my comment counter went to zero and entire blocks of comments evaporated. I have no idea why – I didn’t do anything.
