I figured it out. On the configuration, I deselected “Elastic Mail” from the drop down, which I am using, but got the manual API and all credentials and then entered them all manually in the drop down selection “Other SMTP” or something like that, and its working now.

Same thing here too. It’s not pleasant since I have to do this for about a hundred sites! What happened?

Hello everyone. I also have the same issue with Elastic Email API. The same situation as @antoaltsrl I have around 100 websites also. I can’t possibly upload the beta version manually to all those websites?

@aqibkhan9 will there be an update option soon via the admin panel?

(I tested the beta version on one of my websites and it worked)

I have simply deselected “Elastic Mail” from the drop down and selected OTHER SMTP and entered all the credentials manually (api, port, url of server , etc). Tested and working and now a few orders came in without issues on the email delivery.

This is better now with the info manually entered incase the API between Elastic Mail and Post SMTP breaks again, the manual credentials are there.

Thanks @biglasers. As mentioned I do have a lot of websites using the Elastic Email API option, so to change all of them manually will take me a looooong time.

@aqibkhan9 will there be an update for Post SMTP soon?

    Absolutely!

The fix is already prepared and is scheduled to be included in version 3.9.2, which is expected to roll out within the next few days.

Thank you @aqibkhan9. Im desperately needing this update 🙂

Same issue happened on my website. I manually applied a patch for now and then it started working again.

When is the new version rolling out? @aqibkhan9

ok now, the issue has recurred. I had selected OTHER SMTP and entered all credentials manually. That worked for 24/48 hours.

But today, despite Post SMTP saying the emails are delivered successfully, they are not. 5 order receipts and confirmation didn’t go out, and multiple tests didn’t go out, despite it saying “Sent Successfully”

So, now I’m at a loss. Can’t revert back to elastic mail as that already failed, no new update just yet for POST SMTP, hopefully it gets resolved or i’ll have to use another tool.

    Thank you

    Hey @biglasers,

The issue with the Elastic Email API has now been fixed, and the update is scheduled to be released later today.

If you’re still experiencing issues specifically with Elastic Email afterward, it may also be a good idea to reach out to their support team before making any final decisions, as they may be able to provide additional insight from their end.

I was anticipating the update to fix the Elastic Email issue but now there seems to be another issue. I cant send test emails and when trying to look at the email log Im getting an error:

“DataTables warning: table id=ps-email-log – Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7”

    Anyone else encountering this?
